Protection system of block No4 -110MW. The system includes programmable controllers SIMATIC S5-100U, production of SIEMENS AG – Germany and operator station IBM PC/AT type. It performs automatic operation and control of the technological protection system of the boiler, activation and alarming at appearance of a critical event, and restoring of the normal working conditions after elimination of the cause for the protection system activation.

The system performs monitoring and control of the level in the cargo tanks and the state of the ship engines, visualization of the information on the displays of the operator panels and on the monitor of the operator station, causing and writing of a messages for the state of the parameters monitored (pressure, temperature, etc.) and alarm messages, long-term information archiving and storing.
